JMJ Disability Serv Pty Ltd participants had a blast at the All-Abilities and Ages Come and Try Program yesterday afternoon. It runs for 6 weeks at the CDU Netball Stadium in Marrara from May 12th to June 16th, every Thursday, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
It was a fun-filled afternoon of learning how to use a fishing rod, indoor bowling and playing netball for our girls.
We are grateful to Kate from Clubhouse Territory, whom we recently met at the One Community Ready-Set-Connect event for this kind invitation. The six-week program is for FREE and one for ages and all abilities in sports and activity come-n-try program.
These weekly sessions offer a gentle introduction to sport and activity that fosters friendship and family, without the pressure of having to be part of a team or competition.
This is truly a wonderful opportunity for everyone – not just for persons with disabilities but also for their family members, carers, and, friends which creates a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
